Sit Beside Me When the World Comes Down

It's been a long time since I've done a music post, and I've been feeling some good vibes from a few songs lately. I know that I have a very different taste in music, and I realize that it isn't the most appreciated type of music to be reading on a blog. So, today I'm going to "water down" my tastes a little bit with some awesome music anyone can enjoy.

I have loved this song for awhile. It's such a pleasant song. I love the acoustic in it and I love the lyrics.

Mona Lisa (When the World Comes Down) -- All American Rejects

Another band I love that isn't too crazy is Straylight Run. I love love love this song and it makes me happy whenever I hear it. I love them even more after I saw John Nolan in concert with Taking Back Sunday.

Existentialism on Prom Night -- Straylight Run

I was only going to share two songs but I like things in three so I'm going to share another. :) . This group is a combination of two of my favorite artists-- Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra (I went to a Manchester Orchestra concert in Minneapolis). The combined force is called Bad Books. I wasn't in love with the entire album but I am in love with this song. I think it might be about high school pregnancy, but don't read too into it. It's too catchy :)

Holding Down the Laughter -- Bad Books

All 3 are available on iTunes! Thanks for listening! :)
